Can I recommend some cool stuff that I'm in to??

  • Nuxt, the web framework that powers this website!
  • Neovim, the hyperextensible text editor that helps me code blazingly fast
  • Obsidian, the worlds greatest note-taking platform. STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND CHECK OUT OBSIDIAN NOW, you will thank yourself later.
  • The Primeagen, an energetic, straight-shooting software development internet personality, typescript skeptic, Neovim advocate, and coconut oil officionado. Founder at TheĀ Startupā„¢. (Works at Netflix, by the way.)
  • Theo, another well-spoken, straight-shooting software development personality, Next.js advocate, father of the T3 stack, former Twitch employee and founder of Ping.gg. Promotes a pragmatic approach which he calls "bleed responsibly"
  • Sean "Day[9]" Plott, a thoughtful and engaging content creator, game designer, former StarCraft: Brood War pro player and StarCraft II commentator. An impactful teacher and speaker about a wide range of topics including competition, self-improvement, intentionality, self-care, as well as a range of technical topics in the realm of game design and the psychology of play.
  • SW5E, a fan-made, Star Wars themed overhaul of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. It's still a work in progress, but I've been running a campaign for almost a year now, and it's been an absolute blast. The Star Wars universe is the perfect blend of High Fantasy (Jedi, Sith, the Force) and Low Sci-Fi (analog switches, rusty ships, clunky droids). As a D&D setting, the Star Wars universe offers a rich canvas for the same run-and-gun, "out of the frying pan, into the fire" action of the original trilogy. If you love classic D&D, (or Star Wars, for that matter!), definitely check it out
  • Factorio, by Wube Software (demo available for free). If you get a thrill from automating daily tasks with a clever bash script, this game is for you. Buyer beware: once you begin, the factory must grow.
